A cable car will be built in Kyrenia
This was announced by the Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, while mentioning those who considered the idea of cable cars “a pipe dream”.
Many also did not believe in the reconstruction of the harbor in Kyrenia, but today
the reconstruction has been completed and active work is currently underway on the design of cable cars.
Earlier, the minister stated that there are plans to create two lines: one of which will connect Kyrenia with the Bellapais Monastery, and the second – with the Castle of St. Hilarion.
The minister also stated that there is already a tender for the restoration of the railway station in Guzelyurt.
As you can see, SK is actively developing in order to attract even more tourists to the island.
